Kan. Admin. Regs. § 63-2-26 - Assistant funeral director's license examination

(a) The assistant funeral director's license examination shall cover the following subjects:
(1) The Kansas laws pertaining to funeral directing;
(2) the Kansas laws pertaining to preneed funeral agreements; and
(3) the federal laws pertaining to funeral directing, including the federal trade commission's funeral rule.
(b) Each applicant shall be required to obtain a score of at least 75% on the assistant funeral director's license examination.
(c) If an applicant fails the examination, the applicant shall be allowed to retake the exam at the next regularly scheduled exam date by submitting a new examination application on or before the 15th of the month before the month in which the next exam is scheduled. If the applicant fails the second examination or fails to appear for the second examination, the applicant shall be required to submit a new examination application and another examination fee on or before the 15th of the month before the month in which the next exam is scheduled.
